  • IAMF (immersive audio)
  • Open Audio Renderer (OAR)

See our specifications and working groups for the full list.

Is AOMedia closed or proprietary?

AOMedia is open

Anyone interested can join AOMedia, and all members have equal opportunity to participate and contribute. Our members are large and small. They hail from different parts of the world. They stream content, operate social media networks, run video conferencing services, make chips, build consumer electronics devices, design computer hardware, license software, offer services, do research and innovate.
